Long term silence! *shhhh*

Hey hey hey! Sorry for not updating for a long long time! Was seriously busy with assignments and studies that I didn't even wanna spend like 5 minutes to post Happy Deepavali. SO... I had a rough time for these few weeks; 4 assignments, 10% completed! Damn, and you know what? I can't use the flash works which I came up with last month! Wazafack?!! It is said to be a copy of an advertisement so I thought that it would be great if I could come up with a new one. Very little time, but meh! I haven't even come up with a title to submit for the lecturer to approve! Still in dreamland I guess... Last week was semester break, didn't even wanna do anything, crap I'm lazy! Today... SPM begins! Mwahahaha! To you people taking SPM out there, I wish you the best of luck. Just yell out when you can't answer a question! Haha! Anyway, Just being random again. In college now, class about to start... Meh.. So I'll post further updates at night! Ciaoz!

Cheers! ^_^

Flash works! *being random*

Another day, another post. Back to college, back to work. College hasn't started though. I spent the entire afternoon doing flash. Flash as in like Macromedia flash. Yeah, I was creating a 2 minute cartoon. I am not able to post it here. Well, not that I don't want to post it. I don't know how to post it. Anyone knows how to post flash materials in blogs? It was a great success! I came up with stick figures as demo at first, but I decided to go the extra mile and I came up with an awesome cartoon! Woohoo! Perfecto!!! I can hand this up as my assignment for Multimedia Application. I'm in Diploma level 1 in APIIT college (Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology). Didn't expect that I can be that "good" in doing flash. I'm suppose to be a future Programmer and Network Engineer! Somehow I feel impressed with my work. Should I think twice about becoming a Multimedia Designer??! *rolls eyes* I'll try look for a website to host my work and probably post it here as soon as I can. Then, I'll leave the comments to you guys! Haha! Hey, I'm an amateur in flash, so don't be too hard on me.. It's my first successful flash work with music!! Yeah, I finally figured how to put in audio clips into my flash. Took some time to modify the movements to follow the beat of the audio. I'm not sure if its 2 minutes or not but its somewhere around there. Happy happy, joy joy! *sings* I know I haven't been posting for these few days. Was just too busy studying and preparing for the upcoming assignments. Crap! The assignments are already out and I've already completed one! Yeeha... 1 down, 3 to go! Actually, I'm still not done with the flash assignment. I have to come up with a storyboard and submit it on the eighth week of this semester. Kinda boring coming up with a storyboard. Don't even know how to put it. I'll probably scrape some cartoon based on my work on a piece of paper and submit it. Shouldn't be that hard I guess. The other assignments are a little tough. 1 of them is programming language (which I have never done a good job before!). Future programmer (kononnya). *LOL* The other is System Architecture which I'm new to. One more is Visual Basic.NET (another programming assignment!). Bah! I'll get through... some way or another! :-P I've had a fun filled weekend. Doing nothing but programming and a little gaming of course. Most importantly... ANIME! Hey, it's not wrong to be a fan of anime at my age ok? Anime is a part of flash as well. I can probably come up with a 30minute cartoon in future. "PROBABLY"! So don't put such high hopes! What I find is that flash is something to be enjoyed, no worries, just draw the freaking cartoon and do the touch-ups in the end. Don't have to go banging your head on the wall just because you can't get it to move the way you want it to. It takes time to do the movements. Don't have to be all perfect. Just do your best and enjoy watching your work in the end. You'll be so damn proud! I'm proud of myself! *smiles* Well, then comes programming. I find it tough but I love the challenge. It's not so difficult after you done alot of practicing and tracing of programs. I think you need to be passionate when it comes to programming. No passion = bad program. I know I do not have that passion. Still, I have the curiosity to know. Fair enough I guess.

Anyway, I'm just being random today. So don't mind me yapping away. I love to talk... Well, not through the blog though, but... I just love to talk. ^_^

Cheers~!

Selamat Hari Raya!

Good day to all bloggers and readers! I would like to wish all of you "Selamat Hari Raya"! Have a Happy Raya going and drive safely when you're going back to your hometown. I've seen loads of accidents these few days and this wouldn't be such a "Selamat" (safe) Raya after all. So to you who's driving and to all the passengers; keep yourself alert. Again, I wish all of you a Happy Raya Season! Have fun!

P.S: I had soto and ketupat for breakfast! (my maid cooked them). There are plenty more. Like "Lemang"(rice in a bamboo) and etc... Yum yum! ^_^

Cheers!

Shocking

*yawns* It's the end of another day, I'm still sick, this time a little different. I woke up early in the morning to find out that my body is covered in red dots! I was so scared that it was some funny alien disease attack! I didn't know what was wrong but I tried many ways. I drank alot of water, I consumed Chinese medication, applied skin cream but nothing worked! Later today, it got worst! More dots came about, my throat swelled, I had difficulty in breathing, my whole body was hot as if I was in boiling water! So, my mother took me to see another doctor. It didn't turn out to be any alien disease, not chicken-pox, not measles... It was ALLERGY towards the medication the previous doctor gave me! What the....! How the hell can a doctor give me something I was allergic to? But... still... I did told her that I wasn't allergic to any sort of medication (so far). So now I know what sort of "alien disease" which made me so freaking worried!

Here are some pictures of my so called disease!

This is my arm. The red dots are slowly fading now.

OOPS! Wanted to take a picture of my neck. Somehow my mom got involved too!

My thigh.

So basically that's it. Over and out!

Cheers! ^_^

A good talk

After all the whining and complains for the day, I guess something just pays off. I attended a talk by Mr. William Tan from Exact ADC (Asia Developement Centre) which I didn't really want to attend cause I was sick and I want to go home (at the same time, beat the jam), but I am more than impressed with the talk. He was talking about having a lot of PASSION for Software Engineering, telling the listeners how much passion driven you have to be in order to succeed in the programming field. At the same time, programming must be our first LOVE! Now that seriously whacked me hard on the head, but as he went on, I agree that what he said was true; that we will be dealing with it for the rest of our career. This changed my mindset about being a Software Engineer/Developer. He was talking about the company's Developed softwares; e-Synergy and Globe. Didn't really listened when he came to that.
Exact Software's e-Synergy

This is just one of the examples which e-Synergy can do. There is more than what is said. Find out more from [ExactSoftware]

They run using VB6 and VB.NET platforms following Framework .NET 2.0. By the way, VB is Visual Basic for short. So basically they use a drag and drop software to develop other softwares. Shouldn't be that difficult other than the codings. Here's the good part, he is willing to employ those who are PASSION driven, curious, and willing to learn even though the employee has no proper knowledge in programming! And he's willing to spend 500k just to send you for training provided you have all of the qualities I stated above. I'm amazed on how Exact employs and trains their employees. It is very rare to have "such" privaleges from companies. Other than that if you're not certified, they'll get you certified! How good is that?! They have a manpower of about 330 people stationed at KLCC Twin Towers (Tower 2) which is like, ALOT to fit into 2 levels. Oh yes, have you heard about Exact Holdings before? *laughs* Neither have I! He even compared the well-known of Exact with Microsoft! Well, comparing in a sense that he said that Microsoft is way popular than them because you see Microsoft products being sold in Low Yat for a cheap cost! It was just a joke, but true! *coughs* So at the end was the Q&A session and instead of we asking the questions, he was asking questions as well as giving out a prize for those who answered his question correctly. He said it was a nice mug! Well... Time for me to find out. While I'm posting this, I'm opening the prize at the same time. Yes, very obvious; I answered his question "correctly"! Haha! I was struggling to answer that, but he said, "I'll give it to you anyway! You tried hard enough!" What a relief! Here's the mug!

Here it is, not as good as it looks but I find it nice and simple. Good enough to keep my coffee hot! Exact Software, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (if you're wondering what's imprinted on the mug). Maybe I should do programming instead of networking? I'll think about it... As for now..

Cheers!
